My name is Mandi Kelloway, lead stylist and owner of Once Upon A Stylist. A Jacksonville native, I grew up in the salon business and have been beautifying Jacksonville for over 18 years.  Most days, you can find me and my team beautifying my clients at a salon located in historic San Marco – near the heart of Jacksonville. I have the pleasure of working along side, not just my mother but also some of the most talented artists in the hair industry!

I specialize in an array of hair services but am well known for being able to single- handedly beautify large bridal parties with flair and precision.

I am also the very proud founder of the Just For Grins Foundation benefitting girls born with Cleft Lip and Palate. Just for Grins hosts an annual day celebrating these beautiful princesses with makeovers, a professional photo-shoot and lots of love and fun. I know first hand how very vital it is to teach young ladies the importance of self-worth and that they can achieve their loftiest goals because like them, I was born with Cleft Lip & Palate.

Please join me at my salon and allow me the pleasure of getting to know you and helping you to look and feel like the beautiful person that you are. I cant wait to meet you!

Love, Mandi

  1. I was just wondering if I could get some advice. My wedding is in May and I would LOVE extensions. The problem is that I will be moving straight to North Carolina and I don’t want my real hair and the fake hair to do something different. Should I just buy the clip in extensions so I can wear them if I want and don’t have to worry about it when I move?

    1. Yes, The very best option for you would be to just get the clip in human hair extensions. These can be colored to match your hair if you cant seem to find some that come close enough. I almost prefer these and often recommend them to my brides bc you get a longer use out of them that goes beyond your the wedding day!!! Congrats on the BIG DAY!!!! =)

  2. Hi Mandi!
I am the mother of the groom for the Dean/Tabuzio wedding:) Just wanted to touch base with you that I (hopefully) will be using hair extensions for the wedding. They are the clip in type. Just wanted you to know ahead of time:) Not looking for super fancy. I have very fine curly, little longer than shoulder length blonde hair and I was hoping to get a little more volume with them. I’ve never used them before but excited to try. Looking to do either a side lose pony or down with just my natural curls. Just want to make sure whatever we do it caused the least amount on tearing cause it doesnt take too much to break my hair. Didnt know if it takes more time to put these in or not and thought i’d let you know ahead of time.
    See you April 5th!!
Ann Dean let me know if you need pics of what i’d like or my pic!
